Bunty aur Babli
Well, I saw this movie on Saturday at a local theatre here. The theatre was almost empty with just 20 people for the 8:30pm show in Cine world in Hengrove Park. So what's the hype about Bunty aur Babli. They are two ordinary people who flee from home and find themselves acting and cheating others to earn money to achieve their dreams. They end up addicted to cheating and finally they are caught and released by a police officer who in the ends comes up with a plan for them. Well, the movie is not as exciting as it has been projected. Most of the scenes shown in advertisement were the real cheating appearances they make. I thought they will take up much more different makeovers in the movie. Few good songs but not all songs are good. The item song of Aish with Amitabh and Abhishek was good. The other songs were okay. I thought I would be able to see the rap song of Amitabh which was never pictured in the movie. Well, my rating for this movie is it is an Average movie. Not as good as I expected. More importance and thought could have been given to the final fraud in which Rani and Abhishek plan to steal the gold from the Jet Air flight. The original plan was never shown and few scenes where Abhishek gives few numbers as backup, books tickets as backup. I don't know what for they were done. The original plan could have been shown and then the plan of how it flopped. Anyway a good pass time for three hours.Amitabh has done a great work supported by Rani. But Abhishek who is supposed to be enjoying his work does not quite fit his sad face.

Cast: Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway as Bonnie and Clyde respectively. This movie involves Bonnie and Clyde enjoy themselves robbing banks and stores. So this story is also based on crime done by Bunti and Babli. Amitabh stars in a rap song. Aishwarya Rai comes in one item number.
